Mary-Anne Russell
Chief Commercial Officer
Mary-Anne Russell is a commercial strategist with 25 years of experience at the intersection of growth, customer experience and operational excellence. Her career has been built on a conviction that has never wavered: that commercial strategy is not a support function, it is the engine of value creation, and it should be treated as one.
She began her career in commercial leadership roles across professional services and technology, developing an early understanding of how strategy, customer experience and the right operational foundations work together to build sustainable growth. Over two and a half decades, she has worked with businesses at every stage of the journey, from founder-owned scale-ups finding their footing to private equity-backed businesses preparing for exit, bringing the same rigour and clarity to each.
Her track record speaks for itself and all the results she achieves come from the same approach: strategic clarity first, then execution.
At the core of her practice is a proprietary GTM Diagnostic tool that reveals where commercial efforts leak value and identifies the fastest route to growth. She has used it across SaaS, cybersecurity, consulting, legal and tech-enabled services to audit and restructure go-to-market models, sharpen customer experience and build the operational foundations that allow businesses to scale with confidence. The discipline is always the same: align the commercial strategy with the investor thesis, build for sustainable growth, and make every decision accountable to outcomes.
Marketing Week recognises her as one of the UK’s Top 100 most effective commercial leaders. She is a published advisor on commercial effectiveness and revenue generation, and holds the CIM AI and Marketing mini MBA qualification. She is the founder of Trinity Square, her commercial strategy consultancy, through which she works with CEOs, boards and investors as a fractional CCO and go-to-market transformation partner.
At The Schoeman Clinic, she serves as Chief Commercial Officer, leading all aspects of commercial strategy, positioning, go-to-market, commercial partnerships, and growth. She came to the clinic not just as a strategist but as someone who believes, from personal experience, that getting ahead of your health is one of the most important investments you can make. She joined because she believes the clinic is building something genuinely important: a repeatable, evidence-based methodology for longevity and functional medicine at a moment when the UK market is ready for it. The commercial opportunity to define this space is real, and she intends to help the clinic seize it.
