A Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test (CPET) is one of the most advanced ways to assess how well your heart, lungs, and muscles work together under physical stress. Unlike standard tests done at rest, CPET measures your body’s real-time response to exercise, providing a detailed picture of your cardiovascular and respiratory fitness.
During the test, you exercise on a treadmill or bike while your breathing, oxygen use (VO₂), carbon dioxide production, heart rate, and blood pressure are monitored. This allows us to see how efficiently your body uses oxygen, how well your heart and lungs perform, and how quickly you recover after exertion.
